COURSE DESCRIPTION

The club is one of the oldest in South Wales and remains a members’ club dedicated to providing an excellent course and club facility for the benefit of golfers of all ages and backgrounds. The eighteen hole par 70 parkland course is predominantly flat and about 6,200 yards long. In addition there is a short nine hole practice area for new starter golfers although this is available for everyone.

The course is not physically difficult with most fairways reasonably level except for the ninth (uphill) and the tenth (downhill). Most fairways slope from north to south although some of the greens do not follow the same trend. There are very few hazards and all are in the form of small ditches, the main areas of difficulty being created by trees and the narrowness of the fairways at some critical points.
